Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today as police wives, understanding the unique calling You’ve placed on our lives. Like Joshua facing giants in the promised land, we, too, face fears that try to overwhelm us—fears for our officers’ safety, our families’ well-being, the health of our marriages, and the weight of this law enforcement life.
Thank You for Your promise in Joshua 1:9: “This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Lord, just as You spoke these words repeatedly to Joshua, speak them deep into our hearts today.
Give us courage when the late-night calls come, strength when schedules strain our families, and faith when fear threatens to consume our thoughts. Help us remember that You haven’t given us a spirit of fear but one of power, love, and self-discipline.
Guard our officers as they serve. When worry creeps in, remind us that You are their ultimate protector. Grant us wisdom as we navigate this calling, lead our homes, and support our officers.
May we draw our courage not from our own strength but from Your faithful presence. Help us be living examples of Your peace to our officers, children, and community.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
